A group of Brighton artists have got together, taken direct action and converted an empty industrial unit in Hove, into a brand new studio space.
APEC (Art Producing Economic Community) is a not-for-profit Company that was founded in 2003 by artists to create a dynamic and stimulating studio space for artists in Brighton and Hove in which their practices can thrive. In 2004, APEC became an Artists Co-op. The Co-op has converted a 3000 sq.ft former industrial unit in Industrial House, Hove, into an affordable and well-designed studio complex.
