Fabrica – the first 10 years
Book £20 + p&p
Fabrica The First Ten Years book cover
This full colour, beautifully illustrated book comprehensively sets out our approach to producing exhibitions, artist residencies, education and outreach projects. With 112 pages and 72 full colour photographs of past exhibitions, this is a richly illustrated history of Brighton's leading contemporary art gallery.
"This book, in words and images, is a testament to the sheer achievement of a decade, to the bringing into being of a vision. The founding principle of Fabrica was that artists would be helped to realise and communicate their ideas, as far as possible without compromise, so that a broad constituency of people could share both in the creative process and in the alchemy that occurs when powerful works of art inhabit a space." Caroline Collier, Director, Tate National.
Published by Fabrica. Edited by Nannette Aldred. Foreword by David Lepper MP. Introduction by Caroline Collier. Essays by Matthew Miller, Liz Whitehead, Nannette Aldred and Phyllida Shaw.
