Blood and Ink
A series of activities inspired by the exhibition that
explore sensuality, materiality and storytelling through drawing,
writing, discussion and film.
Creation
through Repetition
Monday 20 April, 11am-4pm
"I do not translate. I repeat processes again and again. Continually
re-working is a process in fact of listening, re-iterating. Re-watching,
looking again and again and again. The same problems. Repetition
comes to be not just a repeating as the word says but also a kind
of a meditation on a particular condition"
Anish Kapoor in a conversation with curator Marcello Dantas.
This
whole day workshop uses words and mark making to explore what happens
when an idea or an image is revisited and redone. It also looks
at the process of creating new work and what that process demands.
