Caitlin Easterby is a Brighton-based artist working at the Phoenix studios. She is co-director of Red Earth, an art group who use articulated sculptures, performance, dance, live music and pyrotechnics to create spectacular visual events exploring the power and energy nascent in natural forms.
Caitlin’s work has ranged from site-specific sculpture commissions and woodland residencies to live art projects and large processional images for celebratory events and festivals. Forthcoming commissions include sculptures for the Forest Garden at Chelsea Flower Show and Kingston Lacy House, Dorset. She is currently developing a collaboration with ARC and Common Ground entitled The Field – a celebration of the nature and culture of the English field, involving seasonal performances, land art, site-specific sculpture, film and photography. The Field is backed by the Arts Council Collaborations Fund.
