A spell of storytelling - creative writing workshop with Little Green Pig
Time & Location
About The Event
Exploring ideas of place and our power to re-imagine the world, this playful new work connects two contrasting parts of the city: the centre and the suburbs.
In the writing workshop, we will consider the connection between telling our everyday stories, and re-imaging these moments by re-writing the narrative, adding more wonder and colour to our storytelling. Participants will do this through responding to the exhibition, group discussion, exploring the power of words and culminating in a short, personal written piece.
This will be a fun and thought-provoking online workshop opportunity for 7-12 year olds where all levels of ability are catered for. The workshop will be led by Adam from Little Green Pig.
Little Green Pig is a local writing and mentoring charity based in Brighton & Hove. They believe in the right to write, and that this vital form of self-expression builds confidence, communication and literacy skills.
