Fabrica & Holy Trinity Church Heritage Tour
Time & Location
About The Event
Join us for a relaxed accessible tour of our 200 year old building, a former Regency church which now houses a contemporary art gallery. Find out more about the history of our building's architectural and social history in central Brighton.
Explore the history of Holy Trinity Church with a 30 minute led tour of the building, to find out more about the craftsmanship that created our beautiful space, including original and restored stained glass windows and woodcarving. You'll find out more about the lives of the diverse and sometimes prominent figures in the community who worshipped and preached here, and what has happened since it's deconsecration in the 1980's.
There will also be unguided time at the end of the tour to look around the space.
Suitable for all ages, this is an accessible tour on a site with a ramp entrance and disabled access loos. Please let us know if you have any access requirements and we will try our best to accommodate you.
Presented as part of Past:Present:Future, a Heritage Lottery funded project in which we are researching the history of our 200 year old building, and presenting a series of events and materials as part of this learning.
