About The Event

Join facilitator Jonathan Quarterman for the first meeting of 2022: A private tour of our 200 year old building, a former Regency church.

We will be joined by two passionate and seasoned volunteer tour leaders, Colette and Lucy, who will tell us more about the history of the building's architectural and social history in central Brighton. Explore the craftsmanship that created the beautiful space, including original and restored stained glass windows. We’ll hear about the lives of the diverse and sometimes prominent figures in the community who worshipped and preached here, and what has happened since it's deconsecration in the 1980s.

Regular attenders will find out more about Fabrica’s space, which you know so well as a gallery and arts venue, while new participants are welcome to take their first peek into this unique and beautiful building and meet some new people at the same time.

Warming drinks and biscuits provided, Fabrica is a wheelchair accessible venue.
