About The Event

Click into Culture is a welcoming online event for adults who find it difficult to get out of the house, due to physical or mental health.

Fabrica presents an opportunity to explore art and creativity with others, and find mindful approaches to engaging in culture. Take a break from your daily routine and relax with us as we discover beautiful art together.

Click into Culture includes a virtual viewing and creative conversations about selected artworks from different cultural spaces, led by artist facilitator, Charlotte Cranidge.

There will be opportunities for informal conversation together and a comfort break.

In July we are drawing our eyes to the skies, with a friendly and lively conversational event inspired by Fabrica's summertime exhibition, Kiosk by Wolfgang Weileder.

Constellations

This event explores the mythologies, beliefs and science of the stars, looking at various artworks, some housed in the collection of Vancouver Art Gallery.

We suggest making yourselves comfortable when you join the event, with a nice warm drink to enjoy. A comfort break will take place 45 minutes into the event. We suggest having your cameras on and mics off at the start of the event.

Artist Facilitator

Charlotte Cranidge creates and delivers workshops and events that draw inspiration from unique collections, exhibitions and artworks to offer a mix of structured and diverse programmes that present an exciting and alternative way of learning. Recently she’s worked with cultural and heritage sites, such as Dulwich Picture Gallery, October Gallery and Kew Gardens, to develop resources and produce creative outcomes with communities.
