About The Event

Going to See Culture Together is a sociable monthly outing to a cultural venue, led by facilitator Jonathan Quarterman.

In July we will head to Phoenix Art Space for 'BreathTAKING'. We will view the exhibition together - the artists have explored the human condition and different narratives from the perspective of communities still impacted by the legacies of colonialism, presented through illustration, digital art, spoken word and video, plus cutting-edge works using virtual reality, augmented reality, and facial detection.

The group will meet at 1.30pm outside the entrance to Phoenix Art Space. Jonathan will be there holding a Fabrica sign. There is a ramp entrance to the ground floor exhibition spaces and accessible loos on site. We will finish with refreshments at the cafe inside Phoenix Art Space.
