A relaxed afternoon for children age 5-8yrs to explore and develop their own creativity at Fabrica, Brighton's centre for contemporary art.
A sociable and informal opportunity for young people to collaborate, create and make new friends. Delivered within Fabricas latest exhibition, 'Earthworks', this creative workshop invites children to take inspiration from the natural world to create their own colourful fossils and imprints. Participants will explore processes of making salt dough to leave their mark behind!
Participants will also be able to achieve a Discover Awards Awards.
Fruit and water provided
Parents are asked to stay on-site with their children for the event. Social distancing will be required and adults should wear masks inside if they are able to.
Booking in advance is essential for this event as places are limited.
COVID-19 RELATED PROCEDURES This event will run in line with local & national government guidelines. Face masks must be worn on site. Please bring your own if possible - we will have some single use masks available if you forget. Please let us know in advance if you are unable to wear a mask. We ask attendees to remain in their personal groups and otherwise please social distance 1m+ from others while on site. Group bookings must be all from one household - the maximum booking is 6 people. Bookings will be spaced 1m+ from other bookings. We will be adhering to the track and trace system and collecting this information on arrival. Do not attend the event if you or anyone in your household/bubble has COVID symptoms or has had symptoms in the last two weeks. Thank you for your support.
Bookings can also be made in during gallery opening hours by speaking to a member of the gallery team or at Fabrica during office hours.Once paid for, tickets are non-refundable. Online bookings will close 1 hour before the event starts - unless ‘Sold Out’ there is likely to still be tickets available on the door.
