WORKSHOP: Messy Play (0-5yrs)
Time & Location
About The Event
Delivered in partnership with Little Learners, Messy Play at Fabrica is a monthly one-hour session that encourages children to explore the world through messy sensory experience, mark making and movement in the unique setting of Fabrica art gallery.
In July and August, Messy Play will be inspired by Fabrica’s current exhibition, ‘Kiosk’ by Wolfgang Weileder, a beautiful structure inside the gallery, which integrates the different materials from Christian and Islamic art and architecture.
In this session, we will get to look closer at some of the different shapes around us, and be inspired to make our own marks using lines, rectangles, hearts and rainbows, ovals, stars and swirls. You and your little one could be squishing spaghetti, squashing play dough, splashing paint and bursting bubbles in this exciting session designed and led by a qualified teacher.
Little Learners is a multi award-winning preschool company which offers educational messy play for babies to pre-schoolers (5 months to 5 years). Babies and preschool children of all abilities are welcome to attend Messy Play. If you’d like to chat about whether Messy Play is suitable for your little one please get in touch by email firstname.lastname@example.org
Fabrica is a contemporary art gallery based in a beautiful former church in the heart of Brighton, presenting a varied creative programme for all ages and free, large-scale exhibitions for all to enjoy.
