About The Event

Delivered in partnership with Little Learners, Messy Play at Fabrica is a monthly one-hour session that encourages children to explore the world through messy sensory experience, mark making and movement in the unique setting of Fabrica art gallery.

In July and August, Messy Play will be inspired by Fabrica’s current exhibition, ‘Kiosk’ by Wolfgang Weileder, a beautiful structure inside the gallery, which integrates the different materials from Christian and Islamic art and architecture.

In this session we will build and experiment with structures through Messy Play. We’ll be creating moon dough castles, using play cardboard, dough and straws, piling crazy soap foam, splashing paint and bursting bubbles in this exciting hour, designed and led by a qualified teacher.

Little Learners is a multi award-winning preschool company which offers educational messy play for babies to pre-schoolers (5 months to 5 years). Babies and preschool children of all abilities are welcome to attend Messy Play.

If you’d like to chat about whether Messy Play is suitable for your little one please get in touch by email kate@littlelearnersuk.com

Fabrica is a contemporary art gallery based in a beautiful former church in the heart of Brighton, presenting a varied creative programme for all ages and free, large-scale exhibitions for all to enjoy.
