About The Event

Presented in partnership with Little Green Pig.

Join us for a gentle and reflective creative writing workshop, exploring the themes of Fabrica’s autumntime exhibition, ‘Strange Relations’, by Carys Reilly & Simon Le Boggit, who produce work at opposite ends of the spectrum in terms of scale, from tiny works of art to a giant video installation.

We will explore themes of extremity and diversity, by playing with the notion of our size and imagining different vantage points which impact and influence our experiences of the world.  Through discussion, games and responding to the exhibition, we invite young people to express their thoughts and ideas through descriptive and creative writing pieces.

This is a creative and thought-provoking workshop for 7-12 year olds where all levels of ability are catered for.

Little Green Pig is a local writing and mentoring charity based in Brighton & Hove.  They believe in the right to write, and that this vital form of self-expression builds confidence, communication and literacy skills.

Please note, it is not necessary for parents/carers to stay for this event.

All children age 7-12yrs are welcome, with priority tickets for participants from the Tarner & Charlton Hill communities.
