I was one of the original co-founders of the gallery in 1996. I lead on the artistic and educational strategy, working with my senior colleagues on the artistic programme and fundraising.
Sally Connellan, Front of House Gallery Manager, Volunteer Coordinator & Office Assistant
My roles at Fabrica include coordinating the volunteers during Front of House and other points of the volunteer programme, Office Assisting which includes day-to-day management and financial duties and I frequently manage or assist many of the various events we hold around the exhibition.
Shonge Holdgate, Finance Administrator
I joined Fabrica in August 2016. I am responsible for the organisation’s finance and accounting functions.
James Gasston, Volunteer Coordinator
I joined Fabrica as a volunteer in 2015 and am now a Volunteer Coordinator and the lead facilitator of our Men in Sheds project.

Shelley Bennett, Trustee
Shelley joined the Fabrica Board in Dec 2014. She is a communications expert working principally within the arts and culture sector.

Tamara brings a valuable perspective to the Board, having worked for major financial services companies in the City, as well as bringing expertise in sustainable design and a keen interest in the arts.

Anne Rupert, Business Manager
I joined Fabrica in April 2016 and I’m responsible for general management of the organisation (including the 200-year-old church that is our home) as well as raising earned income and donations.
Clare Hankinson, Audience Development Manager
I work with artists and facilitators to explore different ways of meeting and engaging this audience, through exhibitions and events at Fabrica, other arts venues and in the community.
I manage our main office, exhibition installations and am responsible for coordinating The Response magazine: a magazine created by volunteers as a response to the current exhibition.
Elin Karlsson, Venue Hire Manager
I look after venue hire and manage events such as weddings, launches and parties.

I joined Fabrica in November 2016 and am responsible for overseeing how we communicate with our audience and the wider world.

I support volunteers and visitors in the Gallery space and facilitate Textile Flow Workshops that take place between Fabrica and Leach Court Senior Residential Scheme.
Paul Bevan, Chair of Trustees
Paul is an independent consultant on urban regeneration and European affairs with over 30 years’ experience as a city planner and senior manager locally, regionally and internationally.

Richard Beales, Trustee
Richard Beales has over 14 years’ experience of managing participation and learning programmes within the formal cultural sector. He is recognised as having delivered one of the UK’s most advanced museum and gallery community outreach programmes for Towner, East Sussex.
