Visiting us & COVID-19

The safety of our staff and visitors is our highest priority and so as restrictions have eased our current safety measures will remain in place for the time being. This will be reviewed regularly.

Our staff will be continuing to wear face coverings and observe social distancing. We would be very grateful it you could support us and other visitors by also wearing a face covering if you are able to and socially distancing whilst in our building.

We will be operating Track and Trace and the NHS Test and Trace QR code will be located at our front desk, and we will continue to use the hand sanitiser provided – particularly in our Shop.

There will no longer be a limit on the number of people you can visit with, however our spaces will continue to be carefully managed to ensure everyone can safely socially distance.  Our workshop and film events will also remain socially distanced.

Please do not visit the gallery if you or someone in your household is unwell or displaying any COVID symptoms.

Visit our new Cafe

Extend your visit to Fabrica by visiting our brand new cafe, open outside the front of Fabrica on Ship Street at weekends during exhibitions. Selling a selection of hot drinks and sweet treats, cheese boards with wine and both draught and bottled beer and cider. Our location in the centre of Brighton makes the cafe a perfect spot to soak up the atmosphere or grab a drink.

Access

Our gallery entrance and exit both have ramps and the current installation piece: Kiosk by Wolfgang Weileder also has ramp access. The gallery is well-lit with clear signage and chairs are available. Our Front of House team are on hand to help with any additional access needs so please do approach them if you need any assistance during your visit.

If you wish to visit the gallery outside of the usual opening hours due to access needs please email sally.bourner@fabrica.org.uk These visits allow ease of access for visually or mobility-impaired visitors who would find it difficult to visit during opening hours.

Visors will be available to use if you require these instead of a face covering.

Fabrica is a gallery that welcomes everyone, and accessibility is important to us. For more information about our facilities please see our accessibility page.
