The capacity in the gallery will be limited to one group of up to 6 visitors at any one time due to social distancing which may result in some queuing. Quieter times to visit the gallery to avoid queuing are weekdays after 5pm.

We have put the following  special measures in place to keep Fabrica safe for everyone.

  • Time in the gallery will be limited to 10 minutes per slot.

  • We will have a one way system in place. Please enter the gallery via the Ship Street entrance and exit onto Duke Street.

  • We will be asking everyone to wear masks unless you're exempt

  • Hand sanitising stations will be available around the gallery.

  • Track and trace measures will be in effect on entry and we will be asking everyone to leave their details.

  • Our gallery shop is open but we are only accepting card payments.

  • Please do not visit the gallery if you or someone in your household is unwell or displaying any COVID symptoms.

Visit our new Cafe

Extend your visit to Fabrica by visiting our brand new cafe, open outside the front of Fabrica on Ship Street at weekends during exhibitions. Selling a selection of hot drinks and sweet treats, cheese boards with wine and both draught and bottled beer and cider. Our location in the centre of Brighton makes the cafe a perfect spot to soak up the atmosphere or grab a drink.

The Forked Forest Path installation consists of a winding path that has some bends and corners in it. The narrowest at floor level is 100cm ( 39"). Due to the overhanging branches the width narrows to a maximum of 71cm ( 28") in some places at a height of 90cm (35.5") off ground level.

If you wish to visit the gallery outside of the usual opening hours due to access needs please email These visits allow ease of access for visually or mobility-impaired visitors who would find it difficult to visit during opening hours.

Visors will be available to use if you require these instead of a face covering.

Fabrica is a gallery that welcomes everyone, and accessibility is important to us. For more information about our facilities please see our accessibility page.
